My Morning Prayer
By: Brittany Foster
Good morning Father, Good morning Jesus, Good morning Holy Spirit! You
are Holy, Holy, Holy yet You are listening to me right now. You sit high on
Your throne in Heaven yet You are with me at all times. The entire
universe fits between the width of Your fingers but still You see me and
You love me. Thank You Father for creating me to be like You and
choosing me as Your offspring, thank You Jesus for drinking the cup of
my sin and reuniting me with Our Father, and thank You Holy Spirit for
living in me and being my best friend. I desire nothing more than to be
closer to the three of You today than ever before.
Thank You for this day that I have woken up with life and breathe; it is
a gift not a burden. I receive grace from heaven for today- if You
needed it Jesus then so do I!
This morning I move my soul towards You. I want You to be the first
thought of my day. I choose to enter into Your presence before I do
anything else and I ask that You make me more like You. I want to be
just like my Daddy!
Today I choose JOY! Not the happiness of the world that comes and
goes but the joy of the Lord that continuously strengthens me.
Today I choose LOVE! I will not look for opportunities to be served but
look for opportunities to serve others because no one takes better care
of me than My Father. He knows all my needs and blesses me abundantly
Today I choose KINDNESS! Lord You are the kindest person I have
ever met. Fill me up with supernatural love for others so that I may
love them from Your source and not my own. I choose to love you by
being kind to Your children today.
Lord, I know that You are so excited about what You have in store for
me today- and I choose to match my anticipation with Yours! I give You
permission to use my life in whatever matter pleases You. Lord let Your
mission be my mission today as I focus on You and as Holy Spirit
empowers me to be obedient. Today I choose as an act of my will to say
YES! Always YES! In Jesus name, Amen.
